On February 5, 2022, Badfinger's Joey Molland joins uis as Keith Putney Productions presents “The Beatles at the Movies” as the next in the series of shows at the Grammy Museum celebrating the Beatles. This one features highlights from “A Hard Day’s Night” and “Let It Be” played by—among others-- Wings’ Laurence Juber, yes--Badfinger’s Joey Molland, the Beat Farmers’ Jerry Raney, and the Desert Rose Band’s-and the Elton John Band’s—John Jorgenson.
 
Some 58 years after the Beatles debut on the Ed Sullivan Show, “A Hard Day’s Night” remains how many of us defined the personalities of the Beatles. “One of the great life-affirming landmarks of the movies” opined critic Roger Ebert, but the Beatles were about the music, and for us the LP “A Hard Day’s Night” is itself a life affirming landmark—the only album, with all 13 songs written by Lennon & McCartney.
 
For decades musicians have followed the template created by “A Hard Day’s Night”, “I Should Have Known Better”, “Tell Me Why”, “I’ll Be Back”, “I’ll Cry Instead”, “And I Love Her”, “Can’t Buy Me Love” and the album’s other songs. With “Let It Be” the Beatles got back to playing live music; and “One After 909”, “I’ve Got A Feeling”, “I Dig A Pony”, “Get Back” and more will indeed be played live in our show.

For the health, safety and well-being of our patrons, staff and artists, GRAMMY Museum’s current COVID-19 policy is as follows:
 
 
Vaccinated guests must present upon arrival a photo ID along with proof that they meet the CDC definition of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, either in the form of a physical vaccination card or a photo of the card.
 
Guests under the age 12 or those who are exempt from COVID-19 vaccinations due to medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs will be required to take a COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours before entering the building and present their negative results at the door with a photo ID.
 
 
Masks are currently required for both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests.
